![]() If you have checked that everything and all files are where they should be and nothing is named index and your site is till not visible, then you will need to check that your domain name is pointing towards where your site is. You need to go back into iWeb and change the name to either home or welcome or something else - anything but index and then republish. If you have changed the name of your welcome or home page in iWeb to index, then don't, as you will cause conflicts. You then also need to ensure that your website folder is in that folder and that the separate index.html file is pointing in towards it. You should have something called a public_html folder, or htdocs folder or something similar on the server, where your files need to be uploaded to. To check this, you would need to download Cyberduck, which is a free ftp client so that you can connect to your server and see exactly where things are. You would need to check that everything has been uploaded to your host correctly firstly and you can't do this using iWeb. \When you upload the site, you need to upload the whole site folder to the public_html folder on your server and then upload the separate index.html that will sit outside the site folder and point into it. gttv March 10, 2018, 2:06am 17 HMMM thats where i reset it. If you’ve been using a different reset option, that’s your problem. ![]() When you publish an iWeb site, you will get one separate index.html file and then your site folder and then another index.html file that sits inside your site folder. You have to change that password in the general website settings, shown below. You should never have and iWeb will never produce an index.html page at the end of your url and that perhaps is part of your problem. If your firewall is blocking your SSH connection. Install an SSH tool such as OpenSSH on the server you want to connect to using the sudo apt install openssh-server command. This is normal practice for iWeb to do this and all files are published to the site folder, so if you upload everything, then your url should be. Either install an SSH daemon on the server you want to connect to or change your firewall rules to accept connections to your SSH port.
